- Attack Helicopter (7) = I'm assuming same as 7 Killstreak chopper in CoD4.
- Pave Low (9) = Pave low finally seen in action! View video in link at 5:02 ->
- AC130 (11) = We've all seen what this was.
- Unknown Killstreak item = (Quote from IW staff member "IW_Scriptacus") "Air support will not target players using Cold Blooded at all. "Air Support" includes all helicopter variants, Predator Missiles, AC130's and the as of yet unannounced <CENSORED>. The <CENSORED> will make you wish you had Cold Blooded when you don't... it's that evil."
So, from what I gather it's an air-support killstreak item that you control, just like the Predator Missile or AC-130... but what could be worse than an AC-130!?
Maybe you gain the flight controls of one of THESE babies. That'd be sick if it would let you control what direction the plane would go, bombing all the way through it's "lifetime" (which I'd assume to be 30 seconds or so). You'd be viewing a camera feed from the bottom of plane, pointed directly down at the ground (same camera as the AC-130, where it's black and white thermal and your enemies without Cold-Blooded are shown with a red square around them) while you directed it's flight path and watched the endless barrage of bombs destroy everything underneath. Now that, ladies and gentlemen, would be a Hell of a killstreak item.
Viewing the same video that is shown for the Pave Low killstreak item, view the video at 7:19. At that time, you can see a friendly and enemy Predator Missile coming in at the same time. This confirms that multiple killstreak items can go off at one time, instead of one at a time like in CoD4.
Challenges Confirmed:- Headshot! (+50)

- Offense! (+50) = You've killed a defender.

- One Shot Kill! (+100) = One shot... one kill.
- Payback (+150) = You've taken revenge.
- Position Secure! (+150) = You've taken an objective.
- Flag Captured! (+250) = You've captured the enemy flag.
- Share Package! (+550) = A team-mate saved your package from the enemy.
Challenges can be acquired multiple times. It's no longer a one time deal.
Gametypes Confirmed:- Free-For-All = Every man for himself.
- Capture The Flag = You should know this gametype. I hope.
- Domination = We're all familiar. It's making a return.
- Ground War = Yet another familiar gametype. Nine on nine.
- Team Deathmatch = I've never heard of this gametype. (Lawl)
- Demolition = Everyone on the attacking team has a bomb, there are two bomb sites, and full-on respawns all throughout the match. Hectic and tactical, all in one. If one bomb is planted and goes off, the attackers are granted more time to get the second bomb off. Objective is to destroy A and B before time runs out.
- Search and Destroy = I hope you know what this is.
Maps Confirmed:- Favela = Shanty town, narrow alleyways. Colourful propaganda on walls. Washing on a line. Abandoned football goals.

- Estate = Unknown details (same for the following maps).
- Quarry
- Terminal
- Sub Base
- Derail
- Underpass
- Scrapyard
- Wasteland
- Skidrow
- Rust
- Invasion
- Rundown
Miscellaneous Confirmations: (by people at this event)
- NO. PUBLIC. BETA.
- In the lobby screen, you can see your NAT type. This shows how easy it will be for you to find a match (Easy - Hard). Also: There is a marquee at the bottom of the screen showing some of your personal stats.
- Two map packs will be available first on Xbox soon after the release of the game.
- Get the winning kill in a match? Everyone will view it after the match is over! A killcam pops up, showing "Game Winning Kill" at the top and it will play the last kill in slow motion.
- Launchers selected will take up your secondary weapon slot. Using an AT-4? No shotgun, SMG, or pistol for you.
- There will be a limited edition MW2 themed 360 coming out on November 10th, 2009 (same date as the actual game) priced at $399. It comes with the new 250GB Hard-Drive, 2 Controllers, and a copy of the game.
- New Veteran Edition of MW2. View at:
http://www.mw2blog.com/modern-warfare-2-veteran-edition-announced/- Killstreaks are stackable. EX: If you get a helicopter, but had an airstrike, you can use your helicopter and then you can use your airstrike (and anything behind that).
- Modded controllers have been addressed. No more rapid fire pistols (unless it's the Glock 18).
- Rank cap is now level 70. Unknown level of prestiges. Rewards for prestiging.
- Throwing knives can be pulled out of your dead opponents body after the kill.
- The infamous 'red hand' in the bottom corner of the Flag Runner video is now confirmed as a faction. It's apparently called; 'Militia'. Other factions: TF 141, Opfor, Spetsnas.
- Players will now unlock emblems and titles for their Callsigns. We had assumed this, but it has now been confirmed.
- Shotguns & Sniper Rifles can now be silenced.
- Better customizable loadouts. For example, you can use a Throwing Knife, Semtex, Blast Shield, or Tactical Insertion. Secondary weapons can be SMGs, Shotguns, Launchers (Rocket and Grenade + unrevealed). Etc, etc, etc.
- The riot shield is an extremely hardy defensive tool, able to soak up a ton of damage before breaking (up to two full magazines with some of the weaker weapons and most of the force of a grenade). Better still, slinging the riot shield onto your back while you have your SMGs out gives you protection from bullets coming in from the rear." Riot Shields can be picked up off of the ground by anyone, no matter your perk set. You can kill with the riot shield; Two melee hits for a kill. Akimbo does not work with the riot shield. Riot Shields cannot break. Ever.
- New party support. Players in a party with you are identified by blue markers over their head. Easy to stick with your friends.
- When you use the riot shield, it obscures the bottom quarter of the screen and you move more slowly.
- Dual-Wielding is not limited to pistols. There were dual UMP's being used. Possibly dual shotguns as well.
