Nice car. I always liked those. I used to have a white 1998 VW GTi VR6, and I had a 72 VW Van as well. The GTi was pretty fun. The car I have now is a stock 2004 Impreza WRX Wagon. Best car I've ever owned. I also have a 2000 Chevy Astro, a 1975 Yamaha RD350, a 2004 Suzuki VStrom, a 2008 Triumph Tiger, and a 2006 Ducati Sport1000.

As per my Avatar: I've been riding two wheels as my primary vehicle most of my life, Gold Wings for the last 20 years. My current ride is a '99 GL1500SE, which if you don't know is a opposed-six 1583cc carbed motor. We pull a Bunkhouse tent trailier ( http://www.bf-specialties.com/options.html) when we hit the road, so I'm pulling over a ton down the road, which the wing will do all day without a whimper. Still, it's got the power to really horse out of a turn when I need to, and to get out of the way of you other numbskulls on the road. oh- and my snow-day alternative is a 92 dodge dynasty I got for $250. Runs great. http://imgs.getauto.com/imgs/ag/ga/24/02/1/1B3BU5631JD242402-1.jpg

Those "luxury" bikes always interested me. They have features that most bikes don't have. I've seen air conditioning, radio, GPS, communication systems for rider and passenger, etc. So what features does that hoss have?

It is. The bikes were all pulled out because I was cleaning the garage that day. Stuff tends to pile up in there over the winter.

Ok, now we need to start adding the top speed you've driven in the car or bike pictured. I've gotten the Navigator up to 110mph, it's still pulling hard but the governor kicks in!

How noticeable is that trailer when you are riding?
Destro I wouldn't pull that with anything but a Wing or a big FLH, but I have to check the mirrors to make sure it's still back there cruising down the road. The only time it's noticeable is chunking around a parking lot, when it can "wag the dog" a little. I'm not a truck driver either, so I always make sure I park where I can pull through and not have to back up. The bike has a reverse if I need to push it back, but I'd rather not have to. I did have one case where we parked to stop somewhere for a sec, and we were on a very slight forward-downhill incline, and as I walked away I hear the distinctive sound of the trailer pushing the bike off its sidestand and over on to the frame guards it went - no big, just a little embarassing. So now if I need to, I just engage the reverse and use it as a parking brake. (Reverse on a Wing is a hand-operated idler gear that engages with the starter, then you hit the starter to back up)

i kinda raced against one once . Not sure if it was in the best condition, when the guy gunned it there was a LOT of black smoke coming out of the pipes. We were probably going 45mph when we both took off. Lets just say i didn't have to downshift

I won't say that it was the fastest accelerating car, because it wasn't, but man could it cut. I remember one day I was driving it and I decided I was gonna kick it sideways, so I was coming up on this "T" intersection and decided to turn right, I gunned it and was doing probably anywhere between 65 and 80mph, I jerked the steering wheel to the right and it just cut the turn, no sliding at all, I ended up smacking my head on the side glass because of the G-forces of the turn but I was amazed. Granted we did have the best set of Goodyear tires on it that money could buy, but still, that's saying something when you can cut a 90 degree turn going that fast!

Mines no 3000GT but has quite enough power to kick some.
1997 Ford Crown Victoria. Police Interceptor Full Police Package from the 4.6l V8 EFI to the aluminum Drive Shaft and Strengthened shocks. when you take a turn in this car at 30+, the car doesnt lean. YOU DO city miles are a blast all i do is get it to 35 then just give the brake a little love tap and boom idle at 30-35.
so far i havent tested the top speed. just a little afraid to. i got it to 110 and wasnt even throught 1/4 RPMs yet and accelerating like a monster. passing gear starting at 45 mph will hit 85-90 by the time i get 1 car length in front of the person im passing.
its dark right now so will w8 for day and take some pics and post then.

I did my first drift like a month ago on accident. If any of you guys know what a round-about it then you will understand the story.
So it just stoped raining and the oils in the ground came to the surface :-) I was going around the round-about doing a good 40mph, when you should be going like 25mph tops. I hit the oil just right and my back end went flying around, making me do one of the sickest drifts on accident. Funny, yet scared of ruining my car, it was a blast!
I also have driving my buddies 3000GT. Great car, but I will have to say my other buddies WRX STI was a whole bunch more fun ;-)

My Lincoln Navigator right now has 300hp, I'm thinking about getting a Whipple Supercharger which would bump me up to 450hp, then if I get a new chip and reprogram the computer I could be unleashing over 700hp in my Navigator, I but I could roast all 4 tires when I have 4-wheel drive engaged. That would be cool.

Son of a gun! I just you tubed to try to find stuff about it and it looks like you would need to get a new block with the supercharger because the engine would run too lean with out it, causing it to blow the engine. They guy was saying 150mph should be no problem, but the aerodynamics would be....I wouldn't even take a SUV that fast. Thats just calling for a roll!!

I actually never drive it anymore, since I have a company truck I really don't need to. I'll drive it once a month if that and I never turn my music up loud when in my neighborhood. I always turn it down prior to getting close to it.

I try to go threw my neighborhood in 3rd gear so its not to loud. I am definitly the nicest kid in the hood, so everyone doesn't mind too much

Well I just know how annoying it is when other people do it, it's not very often but maybe once a year I'll hear it...and I know that's nothing compared to my system. I can set other car alarms off and knock stuff off people's walls.

Your right...I could , but I like having room to put my golf clubs in or my hockey stuff. So as of now...A single 12 is all I need :-)

I'm still hoping to get one but for rally racing, its somethign ive always wanted to get into, anyways this is my car. Not much done to it at all but i still like it 07 Honda Civic SI Injen Short Ram intake A'PEXi World Sport 2 exhaust Replaced this (see the pics for the reason ) 04 Mitsubishi Eclipse I hate Virginia drivers, that is the result of getting slammed at 60MPH, i was at a dead stop, by a PT cruiser and getting pushed into a ford moving van, thankfully i was the only one in the car and walked away with 6 staples to the head.

I don't have anything special. A '99 Pontiac Grand Am GT... fastest I've got it is about 120, too many hills to get it any faster...
Before that I had a '98 Ford Escort, it got ran over... Before that was a '70 Datsun 510, it's still working, just pops won't let me have it since I moved out, xD Got it up to 100, but like the first one, too many hills to get it any faster...
