Activision-Blizzard have today released an updated release schedule for their autumn/winter line-up. Within the schedule are release dates for all of Activision-Blizzard’s highly-anticipated releases throughout October, November and December 2009, including DJ Hero, Band Hero and possibly one of the strongest releases of 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Notably absent from the list is Tony Hawk’s Ride, previously set for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii within November, and recently suggested to have been pushed back to December 4th, there currently appears to be some uncertainty as to whether the game will make it to European shores within the 2009Electronic Theatre Image calendar year. Also absent are a handful of games recently confirmed in Nintendo’s recent autumn/winter release schedule, including iCarly, Barbie and the Three Musketeers, and the Nintendo DS version of Science Papa.

However, a number of highly-anticipated games have been given a final release date, undoubtedly set to please fans of the Star Wars and Bakugan franchises. The full release schedule follows below, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest from Activision-Blizzard.

I saw this a few days ago, I choose not to post it because it is unsubstantiated thus far.  No one besides this one website that put this news out is claiming that it is correct.  Sounds like a ploy to me to gain website hits, I'm not buying it and I won't until Activision announces something, which they have not as of the time of this post.  Don't get all worried, the game is still on for 11-10-09 release!

Also keep checking the GameStop site cause they keep their release dates updated if anything happens.

Yeah ... the delay's been unsubstantiated for a few days, now.

My first thought was, the delay is for the UK, not for the US.

And IW's marketing plan is designed to own the date.  So switching it for the US... I dunno.  Seems like a bonehead move.

I'm hoping for 11.10.09, but 2 weeks wont kill me.

On Infinity Ward's website they had a spelling mistake on "November", last night they corrected the spelling mistake and left the release date for PC at 11.10.09.  So it's now confirmed that the release date is still the original one and that other website was in fact lying just to get more hits on their site.

Wouldn't have killed me but I wouldn't have been happy about it either.
