okie this vid is not my best work its a bit fuzzy but with the audio it still walks you throught the compression at a steady pace.

hopefully this is helpfull to all who watch it.

aw man, when i used to play WoW, i was graced with the responsibility of recording our guild's raids with Fraps, to later post on youtube and other sites. I ended up buying a 320gb external just to save all the raw fraps footage to.  I had heard of virtual dub before, and downloaded it, but i never really figured out how to use the program right.  if only i saw this video a year ago >.<

i use sony vegas for processing and compression now

Ok, that makes sense now.  So Hash, what program what it you were using to record your desktop.  Grill just wasn't specific enough...

oh okie i was using "Snagit 9" its a free download and a 30 day trial. but you can uninstall it and reinstall it in like 2-3 minutes really easy to use its all set up to where its self explanitory
