Great Video!! It got me pumped, but I did see on there Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2. I thought for the longest time that they dropped the Call of Duty and Infinity Wards was just going to take over without the call of duty name. If anyone heard the same thing let me know, I was confused.

Alright, first off, Dark, calm down a bit. There's only 32 days left or so...it'll be here before you know it. Sobes, you remembered correctly, people thought that was the case for a little bit, it was pure speculation and ended up being incorrect. I'd like to use this forum topic to start off a discussion about the video.
My first thought is that it is genius to bring the war to the US, that right there heightens emotions in almost every American's heart. It was a good play for them to do this, they eluded to it in CoD4 but kept it secret for this whole time. Kinda surprised nobody else thought of it. Multiplayer maps in the US is also going to be awesome! Spec ops mode sounds like it's going to be quite difficult, especially if you turn the difficulty up to veteran level. I bet it's going to be insane and almost impossible unless you have two really skilled players playing together on a team and using teamwork. I'm looking forward to knifing the juggernaut...that'll be fun for me. Also, finally confirming multiple attachments per weapon, that is huge! As well as special (awesome) unlocks for prestiging, finally they are making it just about mandatory to prestige, very important part there and that will invoke ALOT more dedication from players and a ton more activity in the multiplayer section. I too am starting to get a little bit excited about this.

Ok Sobes they had origanally had it as MW2 without it being a CoD game. Because Activision wanted to not make another Modern Warfare game. So If yopu pre-order it when they had the posters at gamestop you would see that no activision logo is on it just Infinity Ward. So once the first clip was shown at E3 Activision had to do some thinking. Thus they hoped on and made it the first CoD sequal. Thus it is now Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or as some say CoD6... but I would say it should be CoD4 2.0. |

I get boxes to Best Buy, Walmart, Target, GameStop so I might be able to see it before you guys. Like when I saw the game Uncharted 2: among thieves being shipped to Best Buy today when it comes out on Tuesday. LOL FedEx has its benifits. |

no I could be playing it on nov. 7th. we load packages onto vans/ trucks on saturday so the drivers take it on mondays. Oh and my friend said that at the one gamestop we're going to there is already 316 preorders for MW2.

I just pre-ordered the game and found out that the PC version does not have any of the other spec ops or hardened/ prestige editions
PC is just the basic version. All the other versions are for PS3 and XBOX 360

CoCo spec ops is a new game mode not an edition of the game. also the vetren edition is for the PC. It is the one that comes with the 12" Soap statue. But yeah there wont be a prestige edition for the PC which was confirmed. But yet the harden I have no clue on. Where did you go that said that there was nothing but just the game for the PC. If it was a gamestop I would say something bout them but if it was like a bestbuy or a walmart they don't specialize as much as gamestop does but that is my opinion.

yes CoCo the basic game is the same for each edition however what you get is just the game not the other Items that come with the other editions. Like the night vision goggles for the prestige, the 12" Soap statue for the vertern, the hard art book from the harden and the code for the original Call of Duty for the PC that comes with all special editions. Also anything above the harden which is the Vetren, Prestige they come with the harden edition. But otherwise the game is the same for all editions of the game.

I'm pretty sure I'm just getting the basic version. Unless they were to release details about how hardened edition comes with instant access to some cool feature or gun that you only unlock at like level 50 or something. Wouldn't surprise me since they have done that with CoD4 and CoD5 but I haven't heard anything about it for MW2 yet.
