Alright, finally playing in our server again. What don't you like about the settings? I'm always interested in feedback and I haven't heard anything about the arty and dogs.

i think the arty and dogs are just fine the way they are.
if you were to change anything with either, i would say add maybe 1-2 more arty shells per arty but no more.
so the arty doesnt rule the map

ya thats why i play elsewhere usually. and why i dont play as much anymore, it obviously doesnt affect my kills/points. it just is like limiting ammo in a gun and changing the timing and strat in a way that is too watered down. i dont mind getting dogged and arttied cuz i can play harder and fight back instead of pulling a kobaiashi maru.

are the dogs adjusted by time limit or aggresiveness or both lol

ya 3 shells is useless. might as well turn it off. i think dogs are set to 1/3 of normal too. i think i would prefer all or nothing.

Arty is set by number of shells and rounds of drops, dogs are set by number of dogs and time they are out.
Current settings:
Arty = 2 rounds of 3 shells (default 3 rounds of 5 shells)
Dogs = 8 dogs out for a max of 60 seconds (we used to have it set at 12 dogs for 60 seconds) Dogs health is at 10% because it is a hardcore server and they need to match hardcore settings.
We can bump the arty shells up, I just didn't want arty and dogs to rule the game, I wanted it to be possible if you are good and paying attention to either kill the dogs without getting killed or outrun the arty if you hear it starting to come. We can adjust anything, I just don't want to adjust them so high they start ruling the game. They got adjusted down in the first place because people were complaining of them being too powerful and ruining the game. So what settings do you guys think would be good?

I would bump the shells up to 2 of 5, and the dogs i would take out....  since i seem to have a pork chop around my neck every time they come out.....just joking I would leave dogs as they are... |

You know, I was thinking today how sweet would it be if we did 1 set of 100 shells for arty and 100 dogs out for 20 seconds. That would be INTENSE! In fact, I'm gonna try it on the regular server and see how sweet it is!

Ok, I bumped the arty up to 2 waves of 5 shells. It will take effect next time the server is restarted, which will happen next time I see it without any people on it, most likely early tomorrow morning.

So these settings are much better? Remember not to pwn people so bad, it is a noobs only server so don't try your hardest, or run around and try and play with knife only or pistol only, that's what I do!
