Livesteam is kinda like FRAPS, but you record live and broadcast live at the same time so people can watch you playing LIVE. I think their server is supposed to record your gameplay (or whatever you want to record) so that it will play while you are not broadcasting live. It's pretty neat...only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to get my FPS to stay high and record at or over 30fps at the same time.

Think of Livestream as a way to have your own personal TV station, and TV show. You set up a camera (a simple web-cam will do) and a mike, start your stream, and talk to the world. People can call in, and you have a talk show.
For the ultimate (almost ridiculous) application of this, look at Anthony Cumia (of the Opie and Anthony show) and the setup he has. He has spent almost 50 grand buying professional hard ware and software, green-screen a room in the basement of his mansion, and does his own show from there, whenever he feels like broadcasting. If you look at his archived shows, realize the backrounds are all faked by software, even his reflections on the "desk", and that he's sitting in a tiny little room with some Ikea furniture.

To view archived shows, at the bottom of the viewing window is a button: "On Demand". Click that and select from the menu that comes up.
