Yes, it's the Autumn Equinox right now and
here's some pictures of a regular old corn broom standing completely by itself. My sister tried a synthetic broom that's kinda slanted and it too stood upright without aid.
Ok, so I might be a month off, but it's still kinda wierd that the brooms will stand on end.
Hope everyone's having a happy Equinox

Guard: Surrender, Assassin, and I promise you a quick and easy death.
Assassin: I could promise you the same, but it would be a lie.

What the heck, so you are saying that during a certain time of year stuff will balance itself?

Actually I saw a blurb on the news a little while ago about a lady who has a broom that always stands by itself.
It's just a coincidence of how the bristles are worn, that it just balances naturally

That's nuts, it's still something of a feat no matter how the bristles are worn.

Well the news showed a video of her standing there, and she'd pick up the broom and set it back down, and it balanced. Then she'd knock it over and stand it back up and it balanced.
We want to assign some mystical explanation to stuff like this, but coincidence is usually the best solution
