So I'm thinking about buying a new ATV (my first one) and wanted to get some input. I've looked at all the major brands and have compiled a list of what I want.
Utility Style (must have) Four wheel drive (must have) Engine size 500+ (must have) Automatic transmission (must have) Fuel injection Power steering Independent suspension
I'd like to hear what people think I should get as far as make and model. Let me know if you have any suggestions as well.

My dad bought a used Yamaha 4x4 Wolverine. It goes pretty fast, but I don't ride it much. On the other hand, Bunker bugs me saying, "Can we ride the ATV???" SO ANNOYING! Hate when people ask if they can use my stuff when I don't want to! ...Riding the ATV isn't even that fun. Schlup is probably going to reply, "Grill, you think it's not fun because you have ADHD." (No medical proof.)

I wasn't going to say you have ADHD (although you might, need to see a doctor about that). I would however say that you would have more fun if your friends all had one and you went riding together. That is the case for me, everybody at work has one and I would go riding with them. I don't really need it to go super fast as I won't be driving that fast, I don't want to die after all.

But the suzuki king quad 750 as a bloody good bike aswell, its got everything the yamaha has exept no power steering

Yeah, I'm leaning toward Honda or Yamaha at this point. Maybe Artic Cat, they seem to make a pretty tough 4 wheeler, though I think I would suffer from a rougher ride if I decided to go that direction.

Well I've decided to narrow it down between Yamaha and Honda. Heard too many stories about these other manufacturers ATVs start having issues after a year or two.

I decided in the end to get the Honda FourTrax Rancher 420 w/ fuel injection, fully automatic transmission or push button shifting, 4 wheel drive, power steering, independent double wishbone suspension all the way around, Warn winch, Ogio trail bag with integrated coolers, in the Natural Camo color. Pictures are below...sorry it's a little muddy but what do you expect?

I guess if it gets stuck in one of the "monster mud holes" you can always use the Warn Winch to pull yourself out
