Did they forget something? The graphics look like junk! The lighting effects are great, but the textures are dull and boring. And, most importantly, there is no anti-aliasing!

I would agree with the exception of the cockpit view, it's amazing.

i thought the cockpit view looked good and from the old sims this was a step up but ....how can you tell there is no anti-aliasing from the pics? Maybe I just need to be edumacted on the pics...LOL co.co. |

I think he's guessing, plus coming from HAWX you get a bit spoiled with jet figher graphics...that's why these don't look amazing, except for the cockpit, it looks amazing!

sad to say, but there really hasnt been anything "revolutionary" in the latest versions of DX. I remember back when i ran Xp, i had a patch for Crysis that basically made all the graphical enhancements directx 10 made to the game, except with dx9. Either dx9 is epic or dx10 is a flop  |

I am out and about traveling around most every day. I have a Ram mount for a laptop in my pickup truck (same thing the cops use to mount their laptops in their cars), I have a mobile broadband card wireless mouse, wireless printer, etc. So I pretty well have access to everything all the time. Between all that and my personal Palm Pre and Blackberry Curve for work I'm a pretty well connected individual some would say. My computer room (which I call my office) at my house looks about like a NASA control station. But I always said spend your money on what you enjoy and what you spend most of your time doing. So I have a super nice bed and I have pretty nice computers.

Either dx9 is epic or dx10 is a flop They've always been small incremental upgrades, between DX8 and DX9 it wasn't huge. They can't make it huge or it wouldn't catch on because nobody could run it and nobody would have the hardware to support it either, so they make small upgrades over time. |
