We haven't played the multiplayer, I can't imagine how this would stop hacking - only increase the types of hacks someone can use. I guess I can't see many more ways that the MP will suck...

Well I think we all know how well VAC works in Counter Strike Source...it FAILS hardcore. Call of Duty is hacker free right now compared to Counter Strike which has been using VAC for years. In my expert opinion VAC is going to be horrible, I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling I'm right.

I feel ya Fortis, I feel the same way...but the more people I tick off with the nuke, the more complaints that IW will receive and maybe they'll make dedicated servers...here's to wishing...

I will not even think of purchasing until dedicated servers are added. Even if they are added at a later time I still don't think I will purchase it because the way IW has treated us. At least we will have mouse and keyboard support. Moriarte: Ignoring IW.net, is the PC version a direct port of the console version?
Mackey-IW: No, PC has custom stuff like mouse control, text chat in game, and graphics settings.

Yea i know BPN sticks together but I will step in if you try to ruin other peoples gaming experience since that is not what BPN is all about. That is why I will stop you if you just go around getting the nuke to make people complain. So otherwise if you dont do it for that reason I will be on the same team. It's not to ruin peoples experience, it's part of the game that IW implemented. If people don't like it they can complain to IW, but I am going to use it every chance I get! Just think of the cool call signs I will unlock by using that!
P.S. What makes you think you can stop me, you've never been able to stop me before...plus the fact that because of your beloved IWNET, you aren't going to be able to switch teams or even pick teams. You can either join me in a party before we get started meaning that we will be on the same team or you don't and you won't even be playing in the same games as me. Once again another reason why IWNET is going to suck, but if enough people get upset with it and complain then they will implement dedicated servers back. Don't get mad at me, I'm just the messenger who is going to do everything I can to get dedicated servers for this game! If you want to get mad at somebody then get mad at IW and send them your complaints! Now that I think about it, there's no way you can stop me, since we would never play on opposite teams, you'd either play with me on my team or in some other match that I am not even in.

They have actually released a TON of info for IWNET, and I pretty well know EXACTLY how it is going to run and what options there will be for it. What I don't yet know is what kind of bugs will be in it. The matchmaking will be done by ping and skill level, neither of which are going to match you to me. Like I said, the only way we are playing together is if you join my party or I join your party, in which case we will be playing on the same team. There will be no options to switch teams, they may be an autobalance in case people drop out early but the odds of you or me getting switched since we would be in a party is very slim. |

I am still going to be buying the game with Deagroth. we are mainly buying it for the Campaigns, and Solo's. but will try the multiplayer out for a change and see what its like. but if its anything like what you described it will more then likely suck.

I have a 2Mbit upload connection and a quad core, there's not a whole lot of people that would have a better setup for hosting than me! Finally all this money I have been paying will pay off with a zero ping in game!

Don't get ahead of yourself, whether it's great or not is yet to be seen. About the only thing we know so far is that it CAN'T be great, it can still be good but until they have dedicated servers it will NEVER be great. |

Game is pretty good I would say, I still like CODWAW better, but that may be because I am not use to this game yet. Campain is pretty good, Spec ops is awesome, even though the echo part is nearly impossible. Mulitplayer is OK, again it may just because I am not use to it yet. Overall I would give it a 8/10. I could change my mind in the future, but for a little game play action, that is where I stand!

I've decide not to waste my money on MW2, all I've heard so far are tons of people complaining about the very short singleplayer game + the multiplayer (dedicated server issue). VAC suxorz, I've played CS before and was an admin and OMG the hacking never stops. I have the whole COD series minus MW2 and it'll stay that way until the issues are resolved.
