Well that's about a lateral move...why'd you decide to do that?  Why not run the 9800GT for PhysX?

I'm not doing it as I have two of the same card and am running SLI.  Basically you just designate the 9800GT to be the PhysX card, this takes all the load of displaying PhysX stuff off the main card so that it can do it's main task and that's to pump out the highest FPS possible.  Let me see if I can find any info on it.

i used to run an 8800gts along side my gtx260 for physics processing, but ive since purchased a crossfire board, and im not sure if the extra physx card will work on a non-sli board, so i havent tried yet.  Its definitely a nice setup, its just that their arent too many games out there utilizing it.  The biggest 2 i can think of are Batman: Arkham Asylum and Darkest of Days.

I went ahead and split this post off at the PhysX head because this is some good info that people wouldn't be able to find otherwise.
