Well, after my two Sons harrassing me and telling me how much they love the COD series I just bought MW2 @ steam.  I had cod4 for ps3 and liked it, however never played it much as I hated the controls (Prefer kybrd and mouse to two thumbsticks!)

Anyone here playing this game at all?  Gonna try some single player to get the hang of it then perhaps try some online gaming.

Cheers!

I beat single player tonight, since my internet wasn't functioning, it's a pretty good story line and a great ending!

Well I didn't play straight through, have been playing a little bit here and there, also game has crashed my whole computer a couple of times (either that or my video cards are going bad) but it took me right at 8 hours from what the stats tell me.  Of course now that I think about it, I did have to pause it last night for about 3 hours while I remoted into my Dad's computer and helped him setup his network.

I am now playing MW2 but only becuase i got a free copy. I must say ive had no problems online, although i am going to miss playing custom maps and mods. Also i think the Single Player Campaign was amazing except for the fact that it was way to short, i think it should have been much longer, i mean i beat it in like 3 hours.

3 hours!  Was that consecutive?  Games are way too addictive!  Wink  I've been playing on and off all week, looks like I am near the end myself and I'm loving the game!

Well, I was correct, I was at the end of the game and I must admit I am a little put out on the length of the game also.  Having said that, I did get some opportunity to play online and it is wicked!  I really do reek tho!  Had a good laugh at the end of the rounds when the game lists all the players accomplishments - I usually get the prestegous award of "watching the death cam" too much.  Nearly peed my pants laughinh when I read it.  Cheesy

Yeah, don't feel bad about the death cam, I've received it in right at about 100 matches now.  Just means you are like a hunter and like to get revenge!
