Kewl review MG!  I have to say, you have the cleanest desktop I have ever seen!  I really like windows 7.  About the shaking the window part; you were right, all you have to do is shake it and the others minimize.  The other thing I noticed a couple weeks ago that I didn't know was how the explorer icon that is pinned to start bar also shows the download progress if you are d/l any files, without actually having to go to the d/l progress bar.  Been using win7 since May and I just noticed that!  No more swotchin to the d/l screen to see what the progess is!  Peace!
