I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, sorry.

I am curious to know if TS has some sort of limit on what buttons you can use via the mouse to activate voice-chat.  I have 6 buttons on mine and TS will only let me assign buttons 1-3 and appears not to recognize the other buttons.  The issue I have is that buttons 1-3 are used in the game (MW2), 1 and 2 being primary fire and scope and button 3 I use for running so if I use it to chat while playing, I start runing in the game....only slightly annoying in the middle of a melee!  I would really like to assign button 4 to voice chat but TS won't allow me.  Any ideas?

Curious to know what button some of you use to chat in TS.

Cheers

if you have more then 3 buttons on your mouse then there is a good chance that it came with a drivers disc to assign those buttons to macros or single keys.
if so then you need to install those drivers and set them to a certain key that is unused in any of your games. which can be multiple keys. then when you hit that button it will act as a key on a keyboard. that is what i had to do for my mouse.

Thanks HB - I have a logitech mouse and the driver is loaded so I would assume you are talking about the setpoint software? I can assign specific functions to my keyboard but not the mouse unfortunately.  cheers!

Yeah, i'm not sure on that either, I would think that as long as Windows recognizes the key in your mouse stuff in control panel then TS should as well.  Not that it matters much, we're going to TeamSpeak 3 in about 3 days anyhow.

Ya, I would tend to agree Schlup but that appears not to be the case.  Hopefully TS3 is better for key assignments.
