This seamed like the only place to put this im in need of a car person. I have an 07 honda civic with built in navigation and im looking at a way to attach a video input to the navi. I've heard you can do this by making the navi think theres a reversing camera plugged in. with that in mind ive searched but cant find a wire diagram of what connector has the reversing camera input. does anyone know where the plug is or how to do this. thanks

movies, either through a DVD player or ipod, pretty much all im looking for is a way to connect a composite video input to the Navi through the backup camera connection. i know it can be done ive seen video and pics of it but on different styles of the navi sysytem, european Civics have a different Navi.

Have you taken it out yet? Typically the head unit will plug into the "brain" the brain is where all the connections are at and is what you need to find, once you find the brain you can plug in your stuff. I don't know where the brain is, you can probably go to your local car stereo shop or call up Honda and ask them.

You'll probably either have to take half the dash off or have special tools to remove the head unit. I'm going to recommend letting your local stereo installer professionally do it, that way you don't break anything.
