Nope, I wish, it's just cable internet.  If Verizon FiOS would ever come to my town I would pick it up in a minute!  I could get 25/25 or 50/20...now those are fast speeds!

Even that is decent for mobile I must admit.  I thought about getting mobile for my business, but since I only started it up last May, I can't justify the cost until I build up my client base.  Curiousl to know, if you don't mind me asking, what you pay for your home internet per month?  I am paying about $60/month for cable.  Would be considerably cheaper (maybe 50 or less) if I had other services bundled in but I like my other provider for TV (satelite) and phone as opposed to cable Tv.  Problem here in Canada is there aren't many choices for poviders, basically two large companies who, by law, have to farm out to the smaller companies.  The choices are limited and of course the prices are essentially the same across the board.  From what I see, you Folks in the US have more choices and much better competative prices, depending on region obviously.

Very cool, I must say.  Your upload is only a mere 5 times faster than my download speed!  Curious to know what equipment you need for that;  I guess the fiber pipe comes in to some sort of modem box, then you interface that to your router or did you need a fiber adapter installed in your PC?

CAT 6 comes out of the modem/router...which supports up to 10GigE...plenty of room to spare (for my lifetime that is).  If I had to guess by the time I am an old man I'll have a gigabit connection up and down...but won't exceed that.
