Update: BFBC2 PC Beta Update from DICE!

We have seen a lot of really good feedback on released details of BFBC2 PC and have been gathering these and sharing them with the PC Dev team.  We also want as much feedback as possible after you have played the Beta to really give us the most solid feedback possible to look into addressing.  Your participation in this Beta really counts and we'll have another update soon with the official location to give your feedback!

Woot woot!  Can't wait to give it a try!  I seriously hope they will have several sites available for the download.  I can already see the bottlenecks happening as 500 thousand people all eagerly try to download their copy.  I wonder how large the file is.

1.5GB, hopefully Steam will pre-load it.  I'd host the dang file for them but you can never get in touch with anybody that has any say so over there!

Usually, Valve doesn't prepare enough servers for the Steam downloads for big titles. I can expect delays.

Not too large I guess.  Schlup, with your internet pipe you could host a small data center!

No, I meant to put it in our webserver in the datacenter!  Not my pipe, I want to be able to game!  Yes, Monkey, you are correct...luckily the game is launched at 11am CST (my time) so it will have 6 hours to download before I get home.
