It may look clean but I bet it runs HOT! It's like they put insulation it in for the heat to stay trapped inside.

ha ya, i bet it work wonders for the sound though most pre-built pc's (alienware, falcon, ibuypower etc) have the option for that insulation, but im guessing its not super optimal for airflow

It's because they are attachments to the posts, unfortunately I had to disable attachments for guests and because you aren't a member you're considered a guest. However, I'll try and look into it and find out if there is a work around for you.

I figured the insulation was to dampen the sound of the fans and drives spinning.

The 2nd wc pc is a beast i talked to the guy a few times who build the setup on a pc forum.It does run cool seeing the fact where he has it set up you can't notice it but its on the ac vent/ a lil modded vent he made that leads right outside..lol

The first PC is...interesting... I would't run that were it my components considering he has a highly static foam right around his hard drive at the bottom. I sure hope he bought an anti-static version of that stuff. As for the rest of the case coating that isn't a bad idea in front of fans, but that is about it.
As for the second PC, man I would love to do that!
