ok so i recently swapped my computer case and some how i go a bad header for the CPU Fan, so i couldnt use the CPU fan port on the mother board. Then i plug the cpu fan to the power supply and let it run off that. but whenever i start up the computer it says "CPU Fan Failure" and it auto shuts down in like 3 sec. I can still boot up by bypassing it by pressing F2 and it takes me to the desktop and all but everytime i turn off the computer and reboot it i always have to wait for the "CPU Fan Failure" then i press F2 to continue. Is there a way to turn off the CPU fan sensor? I tried it on my BIOS but my BIOS doesnt have the option to turn off the CPU Fan sensor? Any help would be great Thanks.

i used to have the same problem when i used a port other than the CPU mobo fan one.  I couldnt find a way to disable that error message either, so i just had to suck it up and press a button every time i booted

Is it that the port on the mobo is bad or just that your cpu fan isn't the right plug...cause there are adaptors...

Under warranty?  You should probably replace the mobo, or you can deal with the error.
