My favorite is the RPD with Grip! Though there are several good guns in the game and it really depends on the mode which one is best. In non-hardcore I would rank my top 5: RPD, ACR, M4A1, AUG HBAR, M93 Raffica

I don't think there is a best, but I know we all have our favorites depending on the situation. My top guns are acr, ump, m93r, and spas12

UMP is a good gun too for the sub machine gun class. It's good for run and gun scenarios!

Those would have to be my favorites also, although I do love to use my Stingers quite a bit!! If I hear that an enemy aircraft is inbound, my stinger is usually already up and pointed right at them. They are lucky if it even gets one kill. |

It's got a wicked recoil but if you have Steady Aim it evens out, for damage it is a bit stronger than the RPD but you move much slower.

Have you tried putting a grip on it with steady aim? If so how is the recoil now...I need it to be a laser beam!

It makes it so that your bullets go straight instead of spraying in every direction, it sorta counter-acts the recoil

steady aim is for hip accuracy (doesnt have an affect looking down sights)
and MG grips are for recoil, not accuracy

I'd disagree, though not a lot, steady aim will help your aim down site fire. I have personally tried with and without and it does improve with steady aim on. Basically it just makes your down-range pattern smaller.

Ive tried it on a wall before looking down the sight with an LMG. With steady aim on then off, both tests had near identical groupings. The grip makes a huge difference for both down sight and hip, but steady aim really just affects hip fire.

Well I can only speak for the RPD and it's not a big difference but you can definitely notice it if you are shooting long range.

M4A1 is my 6th... I like it but I'm better and like these five just a bit more. And yeah I don't care how noob people say it is or how noob people think i am for using the TAR but I'm really good with it and i enjoy using it.

I agree completely. But the general population on CoD always wants to complain about SOMETHING. And it turns out they no longer think that the TAR is not fair for some reason (anyone have info on this???).
For the OMA Tubers... i hate that because personally i love OMA (I use Army of 1 as my title).
