After many requests by BPN members for a more robust and powerful forum system we are finally ready to unveil our new forums powered by Simple Machines Forums. We have spent countless hours testing different forum software packages and once we decided on SMF it took many more hours tweaking and configuring SMF to do everything we wanted it to do. Below are just a few of the improvements you will notice in the forums.
*Over twice as fast as our current forums software. *Ability to embed actual videos in the forums by just copy & pasting the direct URL in the forums body & SMF will take care of the rest. *Ability to upload your pictures directly into the forums without having to first host them on a third party site such as Photobucket * A new downloads section where you can actually upload your own files to be hosted for others (note: current limitation of uploads are 7MB), however you may also post a direct download URL from another site and the software will take care of the rest. * Ability to see what posts and topics are new and which ones you have already read via a change in the topics icon. * Standardized look and feel to other forums you may be used to. * Ability to create "bookmarks" of forum topics you visit often for 1-click access to them. * New profile section that can be edited and more information can be entered. * New private messages system with the ability to attach files. * Several different filter options to find the posts you're looking for rather than have to spend time searching. You can filter by only new posts, only replies to your posts, etc. * New advanced and robust search function to find what you're looking for rather than surfing. * News section for up to the minute BPN news. * Ability for users to post their own polls. * More text editing options such as glow, marquee, code input, and many more! * Built-in SPELLCHECKER! * Ability to print or send special topics to friends. * Ability to automatically be notified of replies via your email address. * PLUS MUCH MUCH MORE!
If you are seeing this message it means that the new forums have been implemented. If you have any problems or questions on how to do something on the forums then feel free to reply to this topic or to private message Schlup. Have fun!

I agree, for those of you that want to get some of their old content onto the new website you can find the old forums at the "Old Forums" link under the BPN Member Menu. Just copy paste the old stuff to the new forums!
P.S. The old forums are read only access now so no one can post any more topics or replies on there...they'll have to use the new forums for that!

Thanks Zero...this is why we lost the first match to your guys (even though we dominated the second match)...because I have been spending too much time on this and not enough time gaming. Next match will be different...we're gonna pwn them! LOL.

You shouldn't have had to re-register...if you login to the website it automatically creates an account for you on the forums.

You logged off of the forums, then logged off of the website, then re-login on the website and click "Forums"

No, no...click logout on the forums, then at the top of the website you will click the Log Out there. Then re-login to the WEBSITE and click on the forums link on the top bar.
Well you don't have to but you will have to login everytime and it will become very annoying to you instead of using it's intentional purpose of having it automatically log you in everytime, not to mention the syncing capabilities of the avatar and profile info.

Yeah, for those of you that have created an account on the forums please let me know, I'll have to delete your account and then you go through the logoff steps and relogin steps and it will work correctly for you.
