i signed up to get a free beta key but after a few days waiting decided to pre order well they finally sent me one so if someone wants it, first to post thats a bpn member gets it and i hope that person will use it themselves plz and thx

People can play the beta until the 28th with the beta key...WITHOUT buying the game.  If there are no other takers my buddy from Infinity Ward would like to get the key to try out the beta.  You need to give it fast though cause there are only a few days left.  I'll check the front page poll and let you know who said they didn't have the game but were thinking about buying.

You do get the beta key with pre-order, but they released a select few beta keys to the public without buying the game.  Whippett was one of those apparently.  I applied as well but didn't get one that I saw.

Hey Whippett, i would like to pre-view this game with your Beta key. I have the last BAttlefield game and enjoyed it (on the PS3). I played a demo on the PS3, but i havent played with a controller in ALONG time, i am so rusty/horrable, i cant even say i had fun playing the 3 times i killed someone and dieing ALOT. It didnt seem like you can adjust the sensitivity on the controller which i was having a problem with. PS3 related im sure. Can you adjust this on the PC demo/beta?

Im having a problem tho, i have restarted my PC and game several times. It seems i am only allowed walk left/right, not forward or back. I even configure my keyboard different in the options and the walk F/B doesnt work with different keys. Also, im always looking at the ground for some reason, my guy wont look up, no matter what. I even changed settings for looking around. I can only look left/right. I did click all the different settings in the options panel aswell. Spend an hour messing with options, no luck. anyone know what to do?

You can thank Whippett for the key...it was his.  The only time I have problems like those are a result of my software KVM that I have installed.  I have to turn it off before going in game.  I don't know if you have a software KVM though so if anybody else has any suggestions please leave them here.

Are your Mouse and keyboard wireless?  Drivers updated?  I have wireless keyboard and it does some really weird stuff when the batteries get low....battery meter even says "good" but similar symptoms happen like yours, even if batteries don't indicate they need replacing.

No, both are not wireless.

And its weird, both problems seem to be with the up/down & forward/back directions.
