I thought the price was a little steep considering an 8GB card is like what, $30 these days....the math just doesn't add up!  $200 dollar range seems more reasonable.

But you have to remember that cards in this storage size aren't available, so if you need one big card you'll pay whatever for it!

True, but I like to stir it up and I think it's a scam!  Simple supply and demand - It's new; almost no body has one yet; so lets crank up the price a bit, even though it really didn't cost much more to make than say an 8, 16gig or 32GB card.

I'd buy 8 X 8GB cards and swap em but hey, I fight the good fight eh!    angel

Very true, I completely agree but we can't change it until some competition gets in there!
