Steam just had a new beta that just came out, called UI. It looks pretty awesome. You can update to UI but going to settings then then click Account and on the bottom you will see the "Beta Participation" section and just click on it then there should be a drop down menu that has UI in it and just click on it, then Steam will ask you to restart. That should be all. It looks pretty cool and i believe they took out more of the bugs out, so yeah its a nice update.  :Smiley :Smiley

Be careful when opting in for this new Beta. I did this last night and the Steam client UI decided that my MW2 program files needed to be re-downloaded from the Steam Servers. It was reporting that 11GB of files had to be done. After 2 hours (about 30% done) the UI thought it would be nice to start over again. I read through the Steam forums and this scenario was reported by hundreds of people. Luckily, I purchased my MW2 package from a local store and therefore had the original discs. I simply stopped the Steam client and re-installed the game from the discs. No problems at all and it only took around 10 minutes vice the 8 hours Steam would have needed. I now have a fully functional MW2 program with the 184 update, and all of my stats are fine.

If you opt in (which I recommend since the changes are nice) be sure and have your original discs ready in case the above happens.

Yeah, I did the beta a couple of days ago...it the the redownload of MW2 for me too...I just let it go, after a while it restarted with 11GB instead of the first pass which was 7GB.  It fixed itself after a while (I think after I had downloaded about 10GB total).  All my stats on single player, spec ops, and multiplayer are still there so no harm no foul.  I really like the new UI...it's very nice.  I would change a couple things such as making the font bold and stuff but other than that it's sweet!

i agree with the font, when im sitting all the way back in my chair i feel like an old man having to squint to read things.  i tried looking in the settings for a font option but found none Sad
