Well, now that those of who bought the game have some time playing the game under our belts (I was up till 3am Monday night!!), I was curious to know everyone's thoughts on the game?  I personal think the game is FANTASTIC!!  So far, I am loving it!!    Great sounds, great graphics and great game play.

I was in one of the guard towers in one mission, and I fell out trying to get on the ladder.....here I figured I'd be dead when I hit the ground as the tower has to be 50ft in the air at least......no such luck, landed on my feet, just like a cat.  You guys think that is a bug as I thought for certain I was gonna die, or at least break both legs and a hip maybe.  Either way, I don;t think anyone would get up to shoot a gun after falling that distance.

Looking forward to trying some different maps out on the server!  Which reminds me, I popped onto it Monday night and it seemed to be working fine!  Thanks Schlup!

No problem, yeah, I have noticed the same thing about falling.  Sometimes you will die from something you could have just done a barrel roll and been fine and other times when you're sure you'll be dead you don't even get hurt.  I think the game is still very buggy, they have a lot of patch work left to do!

I think the game is awesome
and way better as far as team work
compared to MW2. They do have a few bugs
to work out  but it is still very worth having in the collection

Oh, I agree, I don't regret buying it like I did on Garry's Mod game that Grill talked me into buying or partially Team Fortress 2 which Grill also talked me into buying.

My favorite aspect of the game is the sound.  The booming from an APC's cannon to the crack of a sniper round flying past your face, it really gets you into the game.  As for the graphics, they have their moments, but i personally think the game is too bright / HDR-y sometimes, and all the dust, smoke, and debris can really be a pain if your trying to shoot something in the distance >.<.    As for falling damage, i haven't died from it yet or found any bugs, but i almost am a seasoned parachutist from BF2, so I've got that goin for me :p

As for the server and its game mode, are we going to stick to one type or just rotate around?  IMO  conquest >>>> rush, but thats just me

As for the server and the game mode, right now with the current server patch we can only select one gamemode at a time.  I've read that in later patches they will fix that and make it so we can run multiple.  Right now I think it's a good idea to to try them all out, run each one for a couple days and find out what people like.  I have to admit though, I really like the hardcore better than regular.

I hear you about the brightness; I had to turn the contrast down on my TV because I was getting a sunburn!    Normally I'm turning it up!

I wish I could comment on the game. I am on of the sets of people who was having major BSOD issues with the game while my computer was up and running. I am hoping the new build fixes that, along with the hope for more patches to install.

Well they've had 5 server patches so far, and the 6th should be out sometime tomorrow (Sunday).
