Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Tip #1. Start with a gun your good with for example your M4A1 and try to complete all challenges with this gun, each challenge will give you extra experience points. Once you get all or most of the challenges complete switch to another gun so you can complete those challenges for extra experience points. Don't forget to do this with your secondary gun as well.
Tip #2. As you level up you gain access to different challenges for example one of the first you will unlock is called operations, and this gives you extra experience for the type of match you play examples being team deathmatch, headquarters pro and capture the flag as well as many others. Don't get stuck playing one kind of match, play a variety of game types so you can get the xp bonus of defeating a challenge.
Tip #3.Check your challenges as they are unlocked and try to do them just being aware of what you need to do will help you for example if you are trying to get the backstabber challenge, you will know to knife a opponent in the back when possible instead of shooting them. However many of them you will get by just playing the game so don't get stuck on trying to do something that's more tedious as it will probably just get you killed.
Tip #4. Use your grenades often, I have got many kills by just throwing them where i see an enemy on the radar, or heartbeat sensor.
Tip #5. Be sure to use your kill streak awards before the match ends, otherwise you wont get as much xp.
Tip #6. Put in the time of playing the game and most of all enjoy.

Excellent tips!
I normally will stick with one weapon until I have completed all the upgrades then move on to the next. All of my 8 classes are filled with a wide variety of weapons/skills and I am working to complete them all.
The challenges are not that difficult (most of them) and I keep track of which are easy to complete and which will take more time.
Ranking up is tedious and time-consuming but not all that hard. Once I reach level 70 this time, I will prestige again immediately unless I am very close to one of the harder challenges then prestige after it is completed.
I still do not know what I will do when I reach Prestige 9 Level 70. The 10th prestige is seen as a mark of a hacker and I would not want that stigma associated with me. Oh well, that is still a little over 4 more prestige levels away so I will not worry about it for now.

A week and a half! Wow, how many hours a day are you playing? I am lucky to get 1-2 hours on a weeknight and 3-4 on the weekends.

lols it doesnt take that long, you can get to 70 in 6 days. 2nd prestige is easier cuz they have more bonuses. 4-8 hours a day, but you have to be getting a lot of points which isn't always the objective of the match. when the game 1st came out i was 70 in less than 7 days, when i started the 2nd presige it took 6.

Let's see: 9 hours a day on the weekends and 6 hours a day on weeknights. In just one week that's 42 hours!! I would have to drink some Monster energy drink to keep up with all the adrenaline that my body would be producing.
