They spelled "its" wrong.  Apple is fantastic at marketing.  That's all I can say.  It doesn't matter what they come out with.  As long as it's white and has that logo on it, people will buy it.  I think I could take a car, weld the hood shut so you can't work on the engine, weld the gas cap on so that you can't change the gas yourself, paint it white and put the Apple logo on the hood, and sell it for twice as much as I paid for it.  It just goes to show how far good advertising can get you.

That being said, some people whose opinions I trust use both Apple and PC and LOVE their Apples.  I just can't justify spending so much on something that is so difficult to upgrade.

Honestly, having owned Apple products as well as PC's, I love my PC's but I also love Apple products. Yes, they are harder to "upgrade" etc. But when you have a product that is 6 years old and it still operates as well as it did day 1...that is an amazing feat! Honestly, if the iPad was about $200 cheaper I would be purchasing one myself. At this point, I plan to wait for the price to drop once they come out and then wait for certain things to get upgraded. I will be using it as an eBook Reader as well as Manual Reader and several other things.

By the way it does have a version of flash support...

I don't have a problem with Apple, but i do have a problem with their fanboys who think Apple products are gifts from God and everything else is inferior.  This iPad just seems like another way to milk the customers by selling them something they dont need.  But if people want to buy it, more power to em i guess.

On another note, what do you guys think about Macs getting steam support?  The more people playing games with a mouse and keyboard, the better i say!

Not a fan of apple's and i feel like the iPod iPad is just a big version of the iPad nano iPod. I'm also not a huge fan of tablet computing as a whole but on the other hand the Courier looks pretty dang good.

They've sold over 105,000 pre-orders already as of early today.  Wouldn't be surprised if they have a quarter million pre-orders by launch time.  Even though they are idiots because they don't even know what the iPad will do yet, Apple has been so secret about it...

When people purchase Apple products, logic and common sense are thrown out of the window.
