I have BF2 and 2142. Wouldn't mind a bit of playing some time. How are the hackers? Last I saw there were tons of them.

I have 2142 but don't play it anymore as it really wasn't my favorite game...I did like knifing people and taking their tags though!

Hey, take it easy on the guy...at least it's not 12 inches tall like it was! I asked him to put them side by side and he did. Dark Insomniac could learn something from him. We should make a new rule that your signature may not exceed 3 inches tall.

Uh, actually there is only one badge awarded in each of the CoD series games for Expert knife skills and it has been awarded to me in both CoD4 and CoD5!

I didnt know a BF3 existed, but i played the heck out of bf2 and every battlefield game before that, so i will probably get it. 1943 should come out in the near future, i think it was originally scheduled for release this fall. As for bad company 2, i really dont know much about it, as bad company 1 was a console exclusive so i've never really seen it in action.

ya, id meant to say i didnt know it was in the making. By the looks of it though i cant see it coming out anytime 2010. BF2 was very glitchy and problematic, i want dice to take their time!

Yeah, to be honest, I've never played BF2, I played BF2142 but it got old real quick and I never was much of a fan. I like futuristic stuff but it has to be realistic as well and I never thought BF2142 was at all realistic. I mean some of the vehicles were just stupid, I should hope by the time they have engineered stuff like that they make it much much better. It didn't even look realistic. I mean, why would you have a walker? People would just blow it's legs out and it's done in the real world...it's just not practical!

battlefield 2 was released in june 2005, then 2142 was released a year and a half later. I had been playing bf2 for about a year before i bought 2142 (preordered), but it was pretty much a letdown. It felt too much like a high quality bf2 mod. I agree with schlup, it got old quick and some of the weapons just didnt make sense. Mecha walkers? :
I really love bf2 for the fighter jets and helicopters, and all the other modern weapons. Anyone think there will be a futuristic call of duty? /shudder
