Alright, some of you guys may have noticed that i haven't been on in the past couple days (i think 4 or 5) well this is because my monitor is dead. After finding out that the monitor was out of warranty and it cost 200 dollars to fix i thought to my self "Time to get a new one" so i did earlier today i ordered the new Acer GD235HZ its  23.5 in. has a resolution of 1920x1080 and has 120Hz making it 3D capable. I also ordered some Nvidia 3D vision and they should be arriving in the mail any day now. I'll be sure to do a quick unboxing/review and ill post it as a reply.

Just so everyone knows if you want to get 3D started you will need an Nvidia 8800 or better, and about 600$ laying around to spend on the monitor (~400$) and the 3D vision kit (~200$)

I have been hearing more about 3D lately and would love to see a sample in action. Looking forward to any future posts.

Yeah, if there's some way to do it, it would be cool to video record your game play through the glasses so we can see what it's like.

Ive always thought about that.  If Nvidia really wants to sell this thing, they need to set up try-before-you-buy stations in electronics stores, because i don't feel too comfortable dropping dough on something i haven't tried.

Last year they sent around several demos all over the US.  You just signed up online and I think each person got it for like 48 hours then sent it to the next person.

How would i go about recording it through the glasses? how about i record the screen and you guys go out and see avatar the glasses are both stereoscopic 3D and in theory they should work. I kept mine and i'll let you guys know if they work.

Not possible. Nvidia 3D vision works only with the Nvidia glasses. 3D is all about perception and you need two eyes for it. Cameras cannot pick up 3D, so we would never be able to see it. If we wanted to experience 3D, we would also need a 120Hz monitor.
