Movie- Shutter Island
Where- Movie Theater
When- Last weekend (3/23)
With who- Some family
Rating- 8/10

After watching The Departed, I expected a whole lot from Scorsese on this one, and i wouldn't say i was disappointed.  Its a very unique thriller, the only thing i can think to compare it to is maybe The Sixth Sense.  Definitely a movie that makes you think, and there will be plenty of arguments afterwards with the people you watched it with as to what really happened in the film.

Very cool...yeah, I'm not much for scary movies but this one looked half good.  I'll have to take a look at it.

I saw this as well, excellent, I'd give it an 8.5 just because 10 is just about impossible.  I highly recommend this though, especially in 3D!

P.S. Woot!  Just figured out how to do multi quotes the easy way!

What Movie?  Where the wildthings are
Where? Friend's place
When? Saturday
With who? (So we know what type of movie it is and whose recommended to bring with) Friend and his two kids
Rating? To see it as an adult, I guess I'd give it a 5 maybe?  Nothing that great about it, but some of it was pretty creative.

I hear you about the 10 rating.  I am really picky about movies but it's been such a long time since I saw a really good one that I just had to give it a 10.  I'd say the last movie I saw I really liked was probably when Star wars Episode I came out, even though Jarjar ruined the movie with his silly dialogue and baby-talk.

What Movie? Alice in Wonderland 3D
Where? Cinemark 12, Mansfield, TX
When? March 13th
With who? My daughter and one of her friends (both 9)
Rating? 5/10  Embarrassed

I really did not like this movie but the 3D was good. I would have only given it a 3 but I thought an additional 2 for the 3D aspect. Both girls were bored with it quickly. Not really meant for children - more of an adolescent (>12) type. They tried for a sequel to the classic story and I think it failed!

Good to know, not that I would have seen it, but now I know definitely not to waste my money on it.

Seeing all these old stories and remakes of old movies is really getting old.  How many times can the same setting be revisited?
