How about a 18+ forum not for postin pics that are agaist rules but from the grown folks who wana just talk smack

I have seen many websites with this type of area but they are mostly full of adult-oriented material. I cannot think of any posting that I would make that could not be made in any of the other provided boards. Talking smack is fun and I enjoy it as much as the next. Keep the language clean and it is really fun.

Agreed!  And not that I am opposed to the occasional colorful metaphor, but what did attract me to this awesome group (aside from the invite) was the attention to order, rules and respect etc.  These are all qualities I personally agree with and the reason I joined.  Without that, I've noticed a lot of  clans are just a bunch of goons, like many of the turkey's who get on-line to hack, flood chat & voice channels etc, and generally act like an infant.  This ruins the whole on-line gaming experience for me, and many others.

Not that the idea isn't a good one, but I know what will happen.....as new people join I would bet those forums would get out of hand.  If we allowed swearing, adult content etc, then everybody would want to join and then, as they say, there goes the neighborhood!


[EDIT]  I also think it would be hypocritical of BPN to allow this, considering what we advertise about clean servers etc.

It's a slippery slope. It would be best not to have one. Our forums are suppose to be clean and friendly!

Rules on the forums:

1. No Objectionable Content
1.1 Do not post or link to pornographic or related material.
1.2 No swearing of any kind.
1.3 Do not post, link to, or discuss stolen/pirated software.

2. Be Respectful
2.1 Do not flame each other.
2.2 No posting "your mom" jokes.
2.3 Do not call things "gay" or use other homophobic or discriminatory language.
2.4 Do not openly argue with anyone. If you have a problem with someone, PM him or her directly.
2.5 Do not attack another member by rude or unnecessary remarks, or name-calling.
2.6 Debates between issues are fine but do not attack another member directly. And when the debate has concluded; agree to disagree.
2.7 Do not attack someone personally by PM (Private Message).

3. Do Not Spam the Forum
3.1 Spamming such as posting an excessive amount of one word is not acceptable.
3.2 Posting only 1-3 words that do not add anything to the thread, and posting completely useless threads that have no meaning to them is spam also.
3.3 Use the appropriate forums for what you're posting.

4. Leetspeak
4.1 This is a forum, not Steam chat or AIM. U dnt nede 2 tak lik tis 2 get ur pnt acrozz. Typing in such a way is not proper grammar or even English and it's also very difficult to read. Take your time and type things out clearly.

5. Forum Administrators and Moderators
5.1 When an Admin or Mod is to step in on a situation you are to respect them. Not to put them higher than other members, but the Admins/Mods have been put in place by the leaders to keep the forum in order.
5.2 If you feel you've been wrongly accused, either contact the Admin/Mod directly, or if you feel it necessary, take it to a Senior or Master Admin.

There's nothing wrong with a little good natured smack talk, and so long as it follows the rules I can't see a reason why anyone would need to be 18 or older to view.  Maybe you can give an example of something that fits in the rules and that someone under 18 shouldn't see???

Simple like i see a few vids on u tube thats use a few choice words but yet again its reguarding to gameplay and angry of gettin owned which i find funny. I just dont wana post a vid in media and then get a email saying STUNTIN DONT POST VIDS WITH ANY BAD LANG OR ULL BE KICK AND ILL BEAT U UP OR SOME THING...lol

So long as it is of appropriate content, videos can have a few choice words, just give folks a warning there is bad language in the video, those that don't want to hear the bad language just won't watch it.  Now if the video is f this and f that every other word then that's probably a little too much...

Agree. I love a good vid of someone getting owned. YouTube is filled with them. Our society is accepting more and more language that was once considered too foul for the big screen. Many PG movies (once pristine in content) are now letting some of the more lenient words in.

As Schlup said, just post a warning if there is too much foul language so that we are warned first.
