Wow, the sale price really didn't last long.

Went to the EA Online Store website and the BFBC2 game is on sale for $48.99 (reg price is $49.95), for a savings of $0.96. The main page does show an ad with a $10 reduction but the actual game page (cart entry) does not.

The PAXEAST842 code is still working for a $20 reduction. This makes the total cost: $28.99

Not yet, I am still on the fence with this one.

Too many reviews where the gameplay did not get good marks.

I played the Beta and demo and was just not too impressed. The sounds were great, but the gameplay was just alright. Not bad but just not overwhelming.

I will probably keep with MW2 and see where it goes for now. Hopefully some more decent FPS games will come out soon that will just blow us away.

MoH looked good (I think it will be steller), BF3 will be coming out this year, and CoD7 will be coming out too.

Ahh, for $30 I'd say give it a try...that's almost 50% of what it runs retail...

The beta didnt really do the game justice, imo.  It was a bad map to showcase what the game is really like.  It truly is a great game though!
