MIA.....Sorta!

    I realize I am still just a recruit, but wanted to share my situation and explain a temporary absence.  I  officially fried my video card (8800GTS) so I figured I'd call BFG and give their "lifetime" warranty a shot.  Not expecting much more than the usual runaround , I was pleasantly surprised when after a 2 min phone call, it was decided that a new card would be sent out to me asap. In the mean time I switched back to my old 8500GT but it does NOT seem to enjoy MW2 nearly as much as I do! I ran my current specs through "CanYouRunIt" and although everything FAR exeeds the minimum requirements for the game, I cant seem to get it running properly (movement in game seems slow and twitchy) ....so to make a long story short, I may be on the shelf untill the new card arrives.  Sorry for the wall of text, hope to be back getting owned in MW2 soon

Well that is good news....saves you buying a new card (although I'm sure you wouldn't mind a little upgrade!)  Good luck with everything and watch the screw drivers around your mobo!

Glad to hear that they are standing by their warranty and sending you another card.

Don't worry about the temp absence. It should only be a few days (week at most) till you are once again in the heat of the MW2 battles.

Are they sending you another 8800GTS?  I kinda doubt it, I bet they upgrade you to something newer and better!  That would be sweet.  Anyways, if you crank down your settings in MW2 and lower your screen size you ought to be able to play until the new card arrives.
