Just saw the below on the Teamspeak website. It sounds like TS3 has been finalized and should be released shortly.

Happy Easter, TS3 Final, and More
by Florence on Apr 4, 2010
Fellow TeamSpeak Communities..

Easter is upon us...a time for rejoicing with friends and family. We wish to extend our warmest wishes to you on this Easter Sunday and express our continued gratitude for your support and participation throughout our communities...as well as your confidence in our products.

We are also pleased to report that we have just concluded our final stage of planning for the final release of TeamSpeak 3. We have listened closely to your comments and feedback and we can assure you that we have made every effort to carefully consider and revise our goals and milestones prior to deeming TeamSpeak 3 a final product. Among these considerations and at the top of our priority list are two key items: simplification and ease of use. We are therefore committing a great deal of time and effort toward this process and we are confident that you will be pleased with the end result.

In addition to core bug fixes and simplification of TeamSpeak 3 prior to its final release version, we are also introducing a new feature -- TeamSpeak 3 DNS. As a teaser all we can tell you at this time is that this feature is similar to Apache's virtual host system and will allow you to for example specify a server address such as customer1.host1.com which will direct you to 1.2.3.4:9987, and customer2.host1.com will direct you to 1.2.3.4:9988, etc. So in essence a port # will optionally no longer be required for connectivity.

Last but not least, in the coming weeks we will once again be focusing on adding content to the new Tutorials section of our website, including advanced tutorials which we know many of you are waiting for. We have received a lot of positive feedback regarding our tutorials and are also working on subtitle translations to German. If you haven't already visited this area please take a moment to do so as our goal is to help educate you on the many powerful features TeamSpeak 3 has to offer...especially those you may not be aware of.

Once again thank you, best wishes, and Happy Easter.

- TeamSpeak Team

Very cool, thanks for the post.  If they could make the permissions system like it was in TS2 then alot more people would love this product!
