Well, I feel dumb now just because I have let this go for so long.  My CPU client hasn't been running for a month or longer now because it could never find any work units to complete.  Well guess what?  They came out with a software update for the CPU client and that's why it wasn't doing anything, because it was an old client.  So I upgraded tonight and I'm back to running the CPU client at full bore again.

P.S. To update the client just go to the high performance clients page, then scroll to the bottom where they should have a couple of files just for upgrading.  Get the right one, then put it in the folder that your CPU client is in and run it, it will upgrade everything and it's that easy.

Actually it's a bit more than I had originally thought.  I did the update but it wouldn't max out my CPU, it would only run it at about 25%.  So I uninstalled it and reinstalled the new one which fixed everything.

Probably got the last couple of work units before they retire the core software version you are using.

does that mean they found a cure
or solved a problem for something
that everyone was working ?

Just upgrading software basically, although they are having break-throughs all the time.

I just installed version 6.29, but I think this is the same one. I am still getting the problem. Do I have to download "Drop-in binary for current Windows SMP2 console client (6.29).

Just erase all the current files and then download and install the new full version again, then go through configuring it again.

Yes, though it's anonymous so you really don't know if you were the one that folded that particular protein or not.  I think alot of people like it that way.

so not one person can claim credit for the cure
