The fastest I have available to me is 18Mbit down and 1Mbit up. I used to have it but then they offered me a very cheap deal on the slower version which is 8Mbit down and 512k up. The upload is what kills me, if I could find somebody to offer me a 5 or 10Mbit up I would do it. At work we have a 50Mbit down and 30Mbit up fiber connection...it's pretty sweet. If I have to do some huge uploads I just put them on DVD or my 16GB stick drive and do the uploads there.

I have Verizon FiOS here, 20Mb Up with 5Mb Down. I can actually upgrade from there to 20x20 if I wanted to without going to a business line, but I don't need 20Mb Up...I would never use it.

Yeah, but I contacted their provider to find out how I can get that package...30Mbit burstable to 100Mbit symmetrical. Although I really can't wait until they start offering consumers with Gigabit symmetrical bandwidth...that's gonna be sweet! Even if they only offered 100/100 that would still be pretty good for a while. |

The package I have is supposed to be just for the internet and like 12 basic channels but they didn't have a lockout when they were installing my system since it was move in week for the college around here and they ran out and they forgot. Also as soon as the rep from Comcast says we can start getting discounts on stuff again I should be able to get another $10 off it. |

I just got an email for Comcast today announcing their download speed has increased from 1Mbs to 1.5Mbs Before I power cycled my modem I had about 29 up, so this doesn't look like 150%, but I'll take it  Internet Speeds |

wow that sucks, comcast has good internet speeds but they are not very reliable, i had the same thing like 4-5 times and i always go straight up to the comcast center and tell them. Then they will fix it right away.
