SEEDING BC2 SERVER

Lately our server has not been populated and the new patch that will be coming out will allow u to join the server and not get kicked.  So if your computer is not in use we ask that u get on our server and make it look like there are active people in it...aka "seeding" and this usually will get our server populated    Also, I know when u come online u want to get into a game fast and seeding at peak times can be tedious at times but like tonite me Yank, Fallen, and Jeric got the server going and before the end of the conquest map it was full and as of 1am May 11th there are 20 people in there...not bad.  That just shows that a little patience and we can get our server up and i'd rather have a clan server of our own instead of leeching other servers  so the bottom line is we need to seed if not we might end our server contract which I for one hope doesn't happen.  SO BPN please stand up and keep our server going its up to ALL OF US!

P.S. Also if you do seed you will be at the weapons list and not in the field getting killed but it will show you as an active player.  This is if you're going to seed as an away player.  Any questions please feel free to ask.

so just joining and not choosing spawn will work or will we have to go idle somehow?

just join and leave yourself at the pick weapons screen but this patch that makes this possible has not been released yet

And you should still be able to Alt+Tab out of the game so you can continue to use you computer while you are seeding the server.
