Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 - $49.95 $29.95
In Red Alert 3, all three factions will have their own hand-crafted story-driven campaigns, with co-operative missions designed solely around coordinating attacks and developing strategies with an ally.

I received this email this evening with the price drop notification from www.directdownload.com
I have bought a handful of games from then and they seem to work very well.

For a couple of reasons:

1. EA sets release dates to please the public, while the game is still loaded with bugs. EA counters it with a patch on Day1.

2. EA abandons it's games. For example, BF2 is a pretty old game. EA stops caring about it and doesn't patch anymore.

3. Every time you start the game you have to watch EA's logo play on the screen for 5-10seconds.

EA, you fail. If the CEO of EA reads this: Your company FAILS!!! NO MORE OF YOUR PRODUCTS!!! IT'S JUNK!!!

And that is why we are boycotting EA.

Nevertheless, EA has put out many great games that we all play or have played.

Regardless of EA's issues, they release some really kick butt games and I can stand to watch the logo at the beginning of the game. Especially since I usually start the game and while it loads up I go and get a drink or something for while I am playing.

I think they all pretty much do that.

I agree with Monkey, but also... they're games of late have been lacking in the imagination department...

They're previous games are/were good, but they all still have their quarks... just like any other EA game...

Nevertheless EA has some good games that i enjoy playing... yes they put out patches on day one to kinda counter the bugs but then what happens if they stop putting out patches? then the remaining bugs are still there and you just have to deal with it no matter what... i dont mind waiting for the logo to dissapear b4 a game... i think if the game was highly antisipated and got good reviews then i would be willing to wait and then play right along... but thats my point on the matter...
