Im no expert, but i would say yes.  You would just need a program that can play dvd's, like VLC player.

Sir, Win7 has a built in DVD media player. It's called Windows Media Center and Windows Media Player. I use it all the time to watch my DVDs. No extra software needed.

I thought REGION was a movie. How you asked the question: "Do you watch It is REGION 2 DVD's?", I thought you were saying: "Do you watch it? Is REGION two dvds?" I am NOT, NOR WILL BE, classified as a BOON.

Yeah, your argument against being a boon just digs the hole a little deeper.

Arethius is right. Bad argument. How do you work in an electronics place and not understand what I ment, there was even a link to show you what REGION 2 applied to. Yep, your a BOON

Not exactly, there are DVD players that are region free but not all of them are region free, there are also some that have region codes that can be hacked to be region free.  In addition not all DVD or Blu-ray discs are coded with regions but some are, it really depends on the disc or movie.  So Sir, when you ask this question you now know that there are many things that go into that DVD working on your computer.  You probably need to find out out your DVD player, ask the seller if it is region coded, or just avoid buying DVD's from overseas...
