Hi guys I need help I went to go load mw2 online to pwn some newbs.. anyway it says fetching playlists ive left it there for about 3 hrs now and nothing my bro nemesis got it to work the other day on his and he has no probs.. i cant find any other forums with people haveing this prob on the (pc) anyway does anyone know how to fix it?

Have you tried reloading the game? Schlup had to last night but his computer would just crash until he reloaded it so this might not apply but give it a go. Also try to defrag the game trough steam.

hmm thats wierd i hit defrag and it worked i loaded cod and it worked fine it dident even say fetching playlists owell and i have the barebones modes up now thx Sir-diealot

I didn't reload the game, and I didn't defrag it either, but I did verify the game cache files in Steam after a Steam restart and it downloaded some stuff and I was good to go.
