ASUS is just about to hit retail shelves with what the HD 5970 should have been. The ASUS ARES video card packs in two 5870 GPUs with 4GB of GDDR5 RAM. Well I did some research and I was wrong about this being cheaper. It will retail at $1200.00 but remember that it is a full custom version with two Radeon HD 5870 GPUs working side-by-side.

I think he means "bought or bot" as in " he bought two gtx 480's and he did not pay 1200 for a gpu and a breif case box"  he also posted at 5:59 AM so he could have been out of it needing his coffee co.co. |
