From NFL.COM
PITTSBURGH -- The Steelers will wear their white road uniforms against the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII, just as they did when they defeated the Seattle Seahawks for the NFL title three years ago in Detroit.

The Cardinals, as the Super Bowl's designated home team, chose to wear their red home jerseys in the Feb. 1 game in Tampa, Fla.

In Super Bowl XL in February 2006, the Steelers had the option of wearing their black home jerseys, but they elected to wear white after playing and winning three road playoff games in three weeks.

This will be only the third time in their seven Super Bowl appearances that the Steelers will wear white. They also wore white while defeating the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IX in January 1975.

Big Ben 10? Never heard of him. Now Big Ben Roethlisberger wears # 7 But then again Texans fans have always had a problem with numbers and getting them in the win column when it counted. Can you say Titans CHOKE?

That game was not the defense's fault.  The turn over differential was +4 for the Titans.  Giving the other team that many series with the ball is going to mean more yardage.  The Titans did win that game decisively.  Unfortunately for the Titans, the only game that really matters is the game they will be watching form their living room.  To be undefeated through 10 games, the #1 seed, and lose in the first game of the playoffs to the #6 seed (like the Steelers did to your divisional rival the Colts in 2005) would qualify as choking in my book.  I'd trade any loss in the regular season (even against the Lions) for the opportunity to play in the super bowl.

well it wouldn't have been a lose if the refs had called the penaltys on the right plays.

The Titans do not have the heart or the skill set to rise up out of the championship rounds and they choked in the ONLY playoff game the were in. Now the STEELERS went on to go to the Superbowl where as the Titans went......HOME

The measure of a championship team is the ability to take it out of the hands of the refs. When the STEELERS went to the playoffs in 2005 they played against the Colts. At one point Troy Polamalu intercepted a pass got up started to run and knocked it out of his hands with his knee it was they recovered by a STEELERS player. The refs overturned the interception saying he never controlled the ball but after the game the NFL stated that the refs made the wrong call. Did the STEELERS get all down and pout about it? No they came back and won the game by taking it out of the hands of the refs. Obviously the Titans are not a championship caliber team or they would have done the same.

You sound like most of the Browns fans I know.  It's so easy to blame bad officiating.  The Steelers get their fair share of bad calls as well.  It happens all the time in every game.  I saw a few serious holds on the Titan's O Line in that game that didn't get called also.

Classy teams never blame officiating because they realize that it happens on both sides.

Let's look at the Steelers vs Chargers game this year.  Polamalu had a fumble recovery for a TD, but a bad call cost the Steelers at least 6 points.  However, that didn't matter because the Steelers already secured the win.  Good teams don't lose just because an official didn't call a delay of game on time.
