Because it was a direct change to the database file most browsers are not automatically updating the highlighting feature with the color change.  Personally even I had to press F5 to get the page to fully refresh and I would suggest everyone else do the same.  I have not only change the highlighting color from a very soft pink to blue but have made that blue color darker.  Trust me once it is displaying correctly you will NOT be able to miss it.  Everyone needs to first try a F5 while on the main forum page.  If that doesn't work then you need to clear your cache files and your temp internet files as well.  Then try it again and F5.

Let me know if you are still having problems.

Ok, I am testing this from Firefox...all of the catagories are blue because I have unread posts in all catagories on this profile.  But the blue background on the main forum section is working correctly.  Make sure you just don't have unread catagores in all fields and that is what causing your issue as well.

Take a screenshot of your main forum page and upload it here.

And if you click the link at the top that says "Show unread posts since your last visit" you have some in that list?

P.S. Are you sure you're logged into the site?

That's the same thing I got, tried all the same things you suggested, and yes I'm log'd in... still... nothing is different...

EDIT :: It finally started to work, it took about 5 refreshes to kick in though... : /

Yep that is what I'm talking about.  Interesting that it wouldn't work with Firefox for you.  It worked with Firefox for me and Sir.  Are you running the latest version of Firefox...though I don't know that it matters.

Firefox just did an update yesterday or the day before so you may want to check again Run.
