Yet no one cryed about this?....why now.....Its a game is what i say. I played the Beta, and you would switch sides why is it a issue now that the game is going to be released? why not in beta QQ MOAR

Well I'm just going to go ahead and ask. How does everybody feel about the plans for building a mosque at ground zero in New York? For those that don't know...

I think she has a very valid point. If the War had been over for say 20 years then np, but being that the war is still ongoing and the way it started I think that EA Games are stepping over the lines of very poor taste and lack of compassion. I am not sure I will buy this now that I know about the fact that it is based on killing Americans in an ongoing war.

OK to Schlup's video post... They are not building it AT ground zero but a few blocks away. That said I think it is MUCH to close. I think that they will have problems in constructing it with vandalism (Which I am all for) The other thing is the guy backing this has refused to open his books to show where the money has come from. Anyone else would have been made to but because this dud is Muslim he is not because of "Religious toleration" Well try getting some of that "Religious toleration" here in America if you give true Christian views or talk about JESUS and you are viewed as a nut case. Try going to a Islamic country and trying to practice some of that "Religious toleration" and you will be EXECUTED. Screw them I hope it is never completed.

I'm not so sure the story is about a mindless slaughter of US soldiers as far as I know you fight as tier 1 supposedly working along side US rangers I think she is concerned about the multiplayer which since she probally did little research assumed that the game was half and half of killing the enemy and killing US soldiers some one has to be the enemy if it was a game of rangers verse themselves some one else would complain

There was a game a few years back, i cant remember the name of it but it was based on the battle of Fallujah in Iraq, and it sparked a lot of controversy and was eventually canceled. Personally, i never really cared before when playing as a terrorist in a multiplayer game, because its just multiplayer deathmatch, its not like your fighting as the taliban ambushing american troops in some town in afghanistan. And as for the mosque in new york, as much as it may get people worked up or angry, we're a free country with no religious persecution, so these people have every right to build what they want on private property. Theres a good chance we'll be hearing about it in the future though, for some sort of vandalism or harassment -_-

wow Katarn ... that is powerful its little shorts like this that remind me why we are fighting this war and why this wont be over until we stand on there broken mangled bodies finishing every last one of them because as Long as even one of them breaths we Americans are in danger so if you haven't guessed ... no i think that a mosque shouldn't be built anywhere around that site I'm not saying they cant build mosques but why not else where why do they have to build it there i mean isn't there enough room elsewhere sure this is a free country but we will not be mocked by these Muslims 9 years ago seems like quite awhile but it still happened! we may all disagree on some things but we are all Americans and we will not let them change what makes this country so great!

Now I was thinking about that and well it could be like Americas army 3 where you always play as the army and view the other team as hostiles and they view you as hostiles and play the army I think that would solve the problem and think about it every match you would get to blast taliban

By that logic theres no such thing as an innocent Christian either.
1 Corinthians 14:34 "women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says."
Leviticus 20:10 "If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death."
Proverbs 23:13 "Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish him with the rod, he will not die."
Luke 19:27 "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.""
Numbers 15:32 "While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. Then the LORD said to Moses, "The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp." So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD commanded Moses."

They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says." 1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. Leviticus 20:10 "If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death." Proverbs 23:13 "Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish him with the rod, he will not die." I see no problem with any of that other than the fact you did not use the KJV
34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
7But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. 33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. 34 and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. 35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. 36And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

no offense to anyone but can I request this thread be locked/deleted? I personally look to this community for gaming and enjoyment. Religious/political/whatever debates is not something I want to wake up or get off work and read.

Yeah, it got a little out of hand. It's a hot button issue and many people have very strong feelings about it.
