I have the Razer Tarantula keyboard and I tried the Razor Lachesis but the side buttons were too stiff for my taste.  I just have a regular old Microsoft 5 button mouse...I have used them forever and since they have been discontinued, last time I found one I bought a couple of them.

I like my Razer Diamondback. http://eu.razerzone.com/p-70-razer-diamondback-gaming-mouse.aspx (I have the red transparent one) I know it is slower than what you asked for (1600DPI), but I figured it was there just as an option.

You know you might also visit our sponsor Xoxide.com and there is a link on the bottom left of the homepage.  They have serveral mouses that I think would fit inside your specifications.

I am running a Razer Copperhead http://www.xoxide.com/razer-copperhead-mouse-blue.html on top of a Razer Destuctor gaming mouse pad.(Or gaming surface if you prefer Grin) http://www.razerzone.com/p-80-razer-destructor-precision-gaming-surface.aspx and I enjoy both immensely though it tool me quite a bit to get used to the mouse. It should be noted that my hands and wrists and both/all been broken and frostbitten on a car wreck in 88 so my results may well not be that as other when it comes to getting used to things. Though I am not quite used to it yet the gaming surface allows me make smaller more precise movement which are hard to me because of the a fore mentioned injuries. but also allows me to make sweeping movement much faster as well. If you decide you want a Razer mouse then you may want to look for this thing they have on their site that asks you all kinds of questions about the way you handle your mouse in your hand to the way you move your mouse on the mouse pad and then gives you an idea of which of their mice may be for you and they also offer more than 1 option when you do this as well.
I went and found it for you after I made this post. Here it is http://www2.razerzone.com/MouseGuide/index.html

I think I used to know a guy that used one...his name was Bunker.  I believe he liked it if that was the mouse he used.  Although when looking at mouses be sure to read user reviews on them and take them to heart.
