So I applied to Blizzard a while back to get us some beta keys for the upcoming expansion called Cataclysm. They finally approved my request and have given us (10) beta keys to be distributed to GUILD MEMBERS ONLY! They want us to test their new guild achievements and guild leveling system as well as some of the new 10 player RAIDs they are implementing. Obviously I took one of the keys so there are only (9) left and it will be first come first serve. I figured only the most dedicated BPN players will be checking the forums that often anyways so it should work out. You'll need to go to the website below and enter the guild and password information. Also let me know if you have any questions. FYI, the beta client will be downloaded via the WoW updater and there are feedback tools to use in game should you find the need to do so.

No the beta is completely independent of the other expansions. You have to have the base game but that is the only requirement.

Very very cool, being a part of a WoW beta is a very lucky opportunity. I would ask in, but unfortunately playing wow doesnt have a very good affect on my grades and amount of sleep i get. Let us know how cat is though!
