This should make you think about the election

Interesting Statistics

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law,
St. Paul,  Minnesota, points out facts of 2008 Presidential election:

 Number of States won by:
 Democrats: 19
 Republicans:  29

Square miles of land won by:
 Democrats: 580,000
Republicans:  2,427,000

 Population of counties won by:
 Democrats: 127 million
 Republicans: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
 Democrats: 13.2
 Republicans:  2.1

 Professor Olson adds:
"In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won by Republicans
was  mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in
government-owned tenements and living off various forms of
 government welfare.

Professor Olson believes the United States is now somewhere
between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's
definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's
population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal
invaders called illegal's and they vote, then we can say goodbye to
the USA in fewer than five years

Pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake,
knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

Nice demographics, do they have any other statistics or charts like this? Kind of makes you wonder how Obama won with the numbers the way they are.

I seemed to remember Obama carrying more states, so I looked this up.  This claims it is a hoax:

Obama won the major cities, that why he won the election. John Mccain won farmlands.

AMERICA IS GOING TO ROCK WITH OBAMA!!!
Hard to believe any christian would say that when you consider he just signed a thing to give millions to Hamas and he has already started to give our money for foreign abortions and has said he wants to raise taxes on firearms and ammunition 700%. No he will bring the destruction of America for sure.

Well I think he will do better than Bush.. Bush had lowest approval rating of ANY previous president, even Nixon...

Also Obama is building the government 'old school' where instead of getting cabinet members that are friendly with him and each other.. he has filled it with opposites and strong opinionated members..

As for tax on Firearms and Ammo .. I see nothing wrong with that.. it's not like he is taking away the right to bear arms, which the government has already done slowly over the generations. How many guns and ammo do you need? The tax should be alright.. imo

Look back in history.. the rights we had, and no longer have. slowly the government takes them away.. little by little.. each generation grows up with less rights and more restrictions, but they don't know it, because they never had them.. I don't know where this is leading, if it is going towards socialism.. but we lose a lil bit of our rights each year it seems... I am a smoker, now you can't smoke in public buildings, even have to be so many feet away from them.. in some states it is ilegal to even smoke in public on a sidewalk.. also look at the tobacco taxes.. omg outrageous.. eventually I think they are going to make tobacco illegal or so ridiculously expensive..

Remember prohibition? Amendment 18 - where they made alcohol illegal.. that failed miserably and thus amendment 21 where it was made legal again.. well i think they learned from that.. and now with cigarettes they decided to slowly fade them out via high taxes and slowly taking away smokers rights..

The government is controlling, and it's not just cigarettes - look around .. firearms have been restricted, alot of stuff has, that never used to be.. Kinda scary if you think about it..

Believe it or not , the Michigan Militia pointed out these facts to me, but yes, they are a bunch of nut jobs - yet they do make a point.

In this day and age of the make me feel gooders and don't disagree with me'ers those that make the right decisions often do have a very low opinion rating. Obama has a very antigun record and the taxes is just one more way that he and the Democrats and Liberals are trying to make it so we can not obtain guns in the first place. Just remember, when you loose your right to bare arms you are no longer a citizen, you are a subject. Here are some fast facts on gun control for you.

Well I think he will do better than Bush.. Bush had lowest approval rating of ANY previous president, even Nixon...

That's only because the public at large only knows the now.  A huge amount of the population that voted in the last election know no president before George H W Bush.  I disagree with A LOT that George W did, but he wasn't the worst.  What about Hoover, Grant, or Harding?  Wm H Harrison lasted a month.  People don't know their history.  Approval rating means 0.

Also Obama is building the government

Exactly why I will never vote for him.  Gov't is plenty big enough, and people need to look back into the USSR and Cuba or even China if they think bigger is better in terms of government.  If anything he needs to decrease its size.  I do think I'm taking your statement a bit out of context here.  I think your meaning was something like "he is building his team" instead of "building the government".

instead of getting cabinet members that are friendly with him and each other.. he has filled it with opposites and strong opinionated members..

He is filling it with all Bill C's people.

As for tax on Firearms and Ammo .. I see nothing wrong with that.. it's not like he is taking away the right to bear arms, which the government has already done slowly over the generations. How many guns and ammo do you need? The tax should be alright.. imo

He may not be techincally taking away the right, just making it that much harder for people to exercise the right.  He can put a 1,000,000% tax on guns, and while you technically have a right to have one, who can afford to pay $3,000,000 for gun?

Look back in history.. the rights we had, and no longer have. slowly the government takes them away.. little by little.. each generation grows up with less rights and more restrictions, but they don't know it, because they never had them.. I don't know where this is leading, if it is going towards socialism.. but we lose a lil bit of our rights each year it seems... Agreed. This is exactly why I will never vote for Barrack Obama, or anyone like him.  The reason we keep losing rights is because our government is making us dependant on it.  We are in the government's proverbial pocket.  The gov't convinces us that it is going to do all these great things for us, they just need to pass the Patriot Act, or some huge bill with a bunch of pork in it.  Once these things get passed, they never go away, and more are always added.  This is why we have fewer rights all the time.  Each generation doesn't know what they are missing, and then they lose even more rights.  It's like the saying that if you put a frog into boiling water, it will jump out immediately, but if you put it in warm water and turn up the heat, it will stay there until it boils and dies.  In 1964, Ronald Reagan gave a magnificent speech where he said , "No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! "

We are nothing but sheep, and Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama have proven that you don't need to have to have substantive ideas to get elected.  You just have to be charismatic and hope the people don't second guess you.  Politicians in both sides lie all the time and get away with it only because the people of this country allow it to go on.

This is probably my favorite 30 minutes of video I have ever seen.
