That must have been scary. I just hate the way the media and school systems play it down. It really bothers me.

walked into my second class for the day and normally its loud and noisy but everyone was dead quiet and still in their seats i walked in and say whats going on and everyone shooshed me, i turned and looked at the TV that was wheeled in just in time to see the second plane hit the towers. I couldn't believe what i had just saw. They "shut down" the school, everyone just huddled in classes and watched the TV's. we could leave if we wanted but almost everyone stayed and watched. Everyone just walked around like they were in a daze for days afterward. To this day i still cant believe that it happened but cant wait until next year and get some payback, even if i might not be in direct conflict disarming their bomb's and IED's is my way at getting back at them. If i can disarm just one IED, knowing its in a place that could kill, my job would be complete and the past 2 years of training will all be worth it.

I was driving cab and had just dropped off a fare that I did not get along with and I turned on the radio and they were talking about it. I got back to the station in time to see the first tower fall, the whole day was surreal. That night a guy tried to take off from a small airport about 6 miles away and the jets from the AFB across the lake buzzed over my house going to intercept him and they buzzed my bosses hose but much lower and scared the crap out of her.

I was little at the time but i remember my mother waking my father up and tellin him we where at war just after the first plane hit TRUELY NEVER FORGET! cause the enemy wont and it is clear they intend on doing more attacks in the future. I remember though that school went normally cause people just didn't even want to believe that it had happened though I saw teachers talking among themselves in various places. thank you sir for posting this it is important we don't forget about this just as so many have

You are more than welcome. The Mosque they are trying to build near it is another attack but people that don't know Islamic history don't realize it. Koran 18:21  'Build a building over them, their Lord knows best about them;' and those who prevailed in their affair said, 'We will surely make a mosque over them.'

They don't cover it well here, the media is controlled by the liberals and Democrats and they don't let that stuff through. To be honest the media is getting to be like what I have read about Nazi Germany with all it's propaganda.

I was in elemetary school on 9/11, and when our teacher turned it on for us to watch, our principal came in and made us turn it off.  That really pisses me off now that i look back at it, depriving us of history in the making.
