Even though my 9800 GTX+ is still a powerful card, I plan to upgrade it to a GeForce 460.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130568

Unless somebody can convince me to spend a bit more for a 470, I will live with the 460 for now.

Also, My Roccat Kone is a great mouse and great for gaming, I saw the new Saitek Cyborg RAT 7 and it has features that will really suit me.  Extra buttons, consomizable fit, and perfect for FPS gaming.

I also need help looking for a new headset.  5.1 preferred.  Mic optional.
I have been looking at this.  If anyone can find a better one for a cheap price, reply below.

I don't want to spend over $500 for the three, but will expand to $600 is you make a convincing argument for a 470/headset.

460 is a great upgrade if you dont plan on spending that much, 470 has 3-4 SLI Capability

The 460 is limited to 2-Way SLI but if very compatible it stands up to the toughest benchmarks there are a lot of bench mark videos posted by Grill.

for the headset i would suggest the logitech G35. 7.1 surround sound, awesome in FPS to tell where gun fire and footsteps are coming from. Whippet and myself have them and love the set.

The mouse doen not look very comfortable to me in all honestly. to many "Sharp" edges. I found the headset that sniperp suggested for less. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104281&Tpk=Logitech%20G35 Another though an maybe some others can expand on this for you more than I  there is 5.1 and virtual 5.1 and I understand the sound difference to be quite a bit. Just something you may want to read up on.

Well hopefully you didn't buy anything yet.  I would have recommended the GTX 465 but I just did some research and as long as you get a 1GB version of the GTX 460, it's a faster card, so forget about the GTX 465.  The GTX 470 however is much faster and has a 1.2GB version available, however, expect to pay around an extra $100 for it, apples to apples (EVGA SSC edition to SSC).  It's up to you but you'll get probably an extra 15% performance (frames per second) in game with the GTX 470 over the 460...

I  am going with the CyberSnipa headset.  The reviews are better and unlike the Logitech one Sniper recommended, it has individual speakers for a true 5.1 surround sound.

I purchased my new keyboard over the weekend....Thermaltake Challenger Pro
    http://xoxide.com/thermaltake-challenger-pro-gaming-keyboard.html

As for the mouse, I think I'm going to hold on to the Kone a while longer.  The software came with a calibration program and the thing calibrated my mouse to work PERFECTLY on a black cardboard surface (temporary mouse pad).  Plus, the reviews for the RAT 7 weren't as good as hoped.  Troubles with Win7 64 and black surfaces.

Oy matey's!  No new mouse and the headset should arrive Tuesday.  What should I go for first?  8GB RAM or a NVIDIA 460-470 card?  Primary use: movies, gaming, heavy bandwidth usage

    Running Win7 Ult x64
    Intel Core 2 Duo @3.67GHz
    1000W PSU
    GeForce 9800 GTX+
    2GB OCZ Platinum RAM DDR3 SDRAM 240-pin 1600

Also, as mentioned above, please state the reasons why I should get a 460, 465, or a 470 GFX card.  I want to get a great card, but not spend crazy cash for it.  I do not plan going with SLI.  Can't afford it.

Why not save money and just get another 2GB of RAM? What you're running now is like the minimum standard for gaming.

If you want to future proof your graphic card, get the higher end.

Yeah, I'd upgrade the RAM as well...your graphics card would be an upgrade at the 460 but it wouldn't be huge, the RAM upgrade will make things faster across the board.

I am gioing to upgrade the RAM this weekend and want a NVIDIA 470 card.

What 470 will be best on speed and performance?  No pre-OC'd cards, I will OC on my own.

I am getting the GTX eGVA 480 Friday.

I a also looking at getting an SSD and just need to know what brand I should go with.  Going to get a 60GB drive and put Win7, F@H, and some games on it.
Fallen, since you purchased a couple SSDs, throw in some advice.

Most of them are pretty good.  I would just make sure you look at the specs and get at least 200MB/sec write and 220MB/sec read.

ATI will be coming out with their higher end 6900 series within a month, so you might want to wait it out and see how well those cost and perform.  Nvidia should also lower there prices when those release to compete, if you wanted to stick with nvidia and save some cash.
